Rehoboth Marine Equipment Repair L.L.C provides marine alternator and motor rewinding in Fujairah and shipboard generator repair services across the UAE from our rewinding bay in the Al Hayl Industrial Area. Our electrical team covers the full chain from the machine to the board: stator and rotor rewinding, AVR and excitation faults, vessel switchboard troubleshooting, automation and instrument calibration, and Caterpillar ET electronic diagnostics on marine CAT engines.
Attendance is onboard at Fujairah anchorage and Port of Fujairah, Fujairah anchorage, Khorfakkan, Port Rashid, Dubai Maritime City, Jaddaf, Khalid Port Sharjah, Ajman Port and Marina Port Abu Dhabi, or in our workshop when a machine has to be stripped, rewound, impregnated and balanced. Insulation resistance, polarisation index and load test results are handed over in writing.

When a superintendent reports nuisance tripping, a blackout or an earth fault, this is the checklist we work through onboard - findings first, parts afterwards.
We take the alarm printout and the engineer's account of what happened, in what order, and under what load. A fault that appears only on load change points somewhere different from one that appears at rest.
The affected section is isolated and locked off. Connections are checked for heat damage and slackness, and the board inspected for tracking, moisture ingress and salt or oil contamination.
The earth fault indication is confirmed with an insulation tester, then the circuit is split section by section to identify the offending feeder rather than condemning the whole board.
Breaker operation, overcurrent settings, reverse power and preference trips are checked against the ship's electrical drawings, and the synchronising and governor response confirmed.
If the fault sits on the machine side, insulation resistance and polarisation index are measured, the AVR, rotating diodes and slip rings checked, and we advise repair on board or a workshop rewind.
The repair is carried out, the section re-energised in a controlled sequence and load tested. Test values and the fault cause are issued to the vessel in writing.
